Part-Time Repairman / Fabricator

Bear Events, a Denver-based event company, is seeking a skilled Repairman to help keep our event furniture, décor, and props in top shape. In this role, you’ll handle repairs, touch-ups, and occasional custom builds so that every item we deliver looks incredible and functions perfectly at our events.

What You’ll Do:

• Repair, refurbish, and maintain event furniture, props, and décor.

• Perform touch-ups (painting, sanding, reupholstering, polishing) to keep pieces event-ready.

• Troubleshoot and fix structural and mechanical issues quickly.

• Assist with custom modifications and creative builds for unique event pieces.

• Collaborate with the warehouse team to prioritize repairs for upcoming events.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop.

• Support setup/teardown for events when needed.

What You Bring:

• Hands-on repair skills — experience with furniture, carpentry, or general maintenance.

• Knowledge of woodworking, painting, or light upholstery (bonus if you can do all three).

• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment.

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work on tight deadlines.

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and help with event setup when needed.

• Flexibility — some nights/weekends/overnights out of town may be required based on event schedules.
