As a Sales Assistant at CSM Flooring, you will be on the front lines of our showroom, playing a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our sales team. You'll gain hands-on experience with various aspects of the sales and design process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our customers.

• Have knowledge of the flooring industry (preferred but not required).
• Know how to use the Google suite of products, including Google Docs and Sheets to coordinate across multiple projects.
• Are eager to learn and grow. Previous customer experience is a plus, but not required if you have the right attitude!

Responsibilities:

Your diverse duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Answering showroom phones and providing helpful assistance to callers.
• Greeting walk-in customers with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Assisting our Sales Consultants by securing product information, checking availability, and helping with flooring project details.
• Helping customers with general inquiries when our Sales Consultants are assisting others or are out of the showroom.
• Assisting with showroom pricing and maintaining accurate displays.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week, with a consistent schedule:

• Five days per week, 10:00am to 3:00pm
• One of these days will be a Saturday on a rotating basis (approximately every 3rd Saturday)
