Part Time School Custodian, Maintenance, and Handyman

ABOUT THE EMPLOYER:

Mardan is a not-for-profit school for students in grades K through 12 with special academic, social, and emotional needs. We are located in Irvine CA. Our mission is to improve the academic and emotional well-being of any child who struggles with learning, social, and/or emotional challenges. We provide a safe, therapeutic learning environment that teaches the academic, social, and coping skills needed for students to experience success.

ABOUT THE JOB:

The position consists of performing janitorial tasks (including cleaning windows, floors, dusting, sanitizing, cleaning trash cans, and power washing) and maintenance items as required. Maintenance items include inside and outside repairs as needed around school requiring a basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work. This position also coordinates work/supervise work provided by outside contractors including roofers, electricians, painters, etc.). We are looking for someone to take a proactive approach to cleaning and fixing items around our school campus.

HOURS, PAY, & BENEFITS:

• Part time position (M - F 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM)


• 24 hours of paid personal time off + 16 hours of paid sick time


• Holidays and vacations are NOT PAID
