💰 Compensation: $25-$40/hr. based on education & experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a part-time basis (10-15 hrs./week). The school nurse will support the health and wellness of all Ivy students and staff by providing direct care, managing student health plans, maintaining medical records, and promoting healthy habits throughout the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily medical care to students with injuries, illnesses, or health conditions
  


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  


• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with state laws and school policy
  


• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, allergies)
  


• Implement and update individualized healthcare plans and emergency action plans
  


• Assist with immunization tracking and required screenings
  


• Act as a health resource and liaison between students, families, and staff
  


• Collaborate with school leadership on health and safety protocols
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current Tennessee license as an LPN or RN
  


• Current CPR & First Aid certification (WFA or WFR preferred)
  


• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or community health nursing preferred
  


• Strong communication & organizational skills
  


• Ability to work independently & with a team in a fast-paced school environment
  


• Passion for supporting student well-being & equity in education
