Job Description - Part-Time Security Officer//Camp Hill

Job Title: Part-Time Security Officer (2nd & 3rd Shifts)
Location: Camp Hill and Surroundings
Department: Security
Reports To: Security Supervisor / Director of Operations
Shifts Available: 2nd Shift (3 PM – 11 PM), 3rd Shift (11 PM – 7 AM)
Schedule: Part-Time, including weekends and holidays as needed

Job Summary:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling the facility grounds, monitoring checkpoints, responding promptly to emergency situations, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the property. This is a key position that requires vigilance, professionalism, and a calm demeanor, especially during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol interior and exterior areas of the facility regularly

Monitor security checkpoints and complete scheduled check-ins

Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including medical, fire, and safety incidents

Document and report all incidents, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns

Maintain a strong presence and provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors

Ensure compliance with all facility security protocols and procedures

Work collaboratively with nursing and management staff during emergencies

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if patrol requires driving)

Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
