Position: Social Director

Location: Bishops Gate at Somerset- Cincinnati, OH

Office Hours:  One day per week and two Saturdays each month 

Pay Rate: $18 - 20/hour (based on experience and qualifications), plus commissions and bonuses 

Community Size: 248 units

Who You Are:

  • A minimum of a year of experience leasing in multifamily housing, event planning or sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fair housing and Yardi and CRM software knowledge (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer service abilities.
  • Meticulous with strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in showing properties, overseeing lease negotiations, and managing application processes.
  • Ability to conduct market surveys and competitive analysis.
  • Cheerful outlook with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with maintaining and managing social media platforms.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto-insurance.

What You Will Do:

  • Plan and coordinate social events based on resident interests, staying within the set budget.
  • Negotiate with outside vendors such as caterers and entertainers, submitting contracts for final approval.
  • Prepare the community newsletter, featuring resident interviews, event photos, and future event announcements.
  • Oversee the content and accuracy of the community website.
  • Respond to inquiries and schedule appointments using the Signature method.
  • Show and lease apartments to qualified prospects as needed.
  • Review and explain lease paperwork and community rules to new residents.
  • Ensure lease paperwork is accurate and approved by the Community Manager.
  • Accurately enter traffic, move-ins, and leasing information into the Yardi system.
