Part Time Special Education Teacher Flex hours 60 to 70 per hour

Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part Time Special Education Teacher to join our team. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with students who have diverse learning needs in an engaging and supportive environment.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) and using effective teaching strategies tailored to each student's unique learning style.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement IEPs for students with varying disabilities
• Deliver targeted instruction and support in various subjects
• Utilize assessment tools to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure student success
• Communicate effectively with families regarding educational progress and strategies

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with special needs preferred
• Strong understanding of instructional strategies and behavior management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
