Part-Time Staff Accountant

Chicago-based Golub & Company LLC and its affiliates are active internationally in real estate development, acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing and corporate real estate services.  The Company has developed, owned or managed more than 50 million square feet of properties valued in excess of $10 billion.

We are seeking a part-time Staff Accountant to assist our Vice President of Accounting with the following duties related to corporate and fund accounting functions:

• Prepares journal entries, account analysis and work papers for individual trusts and related partnerships
• Compiles scheduled reporting for internal review by trust owners
• Coordinates movement of cash for capital calls and distributions, quarterly tax payments, and expenses
• Assists with tax return preparation
• Communicates regularly with trust owners

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (with Accounting classes) from four-year college or university and 2-3 years’ experience in general accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Tax related experience or experience with financial investments is preferred. Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, and experience with Skyline Property Management System is preferred. CPA not required. Individual should be organized and self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills. 

This position has the option to be fully remote. Candidate must be located in one of the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Colorado, Georgia, or Florida. Chicago area preferred. Some infrequent days in the office may be required.

The hourly rate for this part-time position will be between $33.65-36.44.
