Part-Time STORE CLERK $15.50/hr. Rocker Pilot Travel Plaza

Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing part-time Store Clerk to join our team.  Town Pump is a growing company, with ever-increasing opportunities for career growth.

As a Store Clerk team member, you will:

• Providing excellent customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying merchandise, store safety and store security, and deli food sales.


• Operate computerized cash register, give correct change, scan credit cards, accept and process checks, and bag merchandise.


• Learn regular customers’ names and faces, answer and screen phone calls, police the store, detect shoplifters, and listen to and handle customer complaints.


• Stock shelves and coolers, complete accurate and effective completion of shift duties, clean and maintain all areas of the store, complete vendor check-in procedures, complete the protocol system and “drive off” controls, and advise the store manager of any situations or policy violations that have an adverse effect on store operating performance.


• Keep the hot dog roller, nacho and popcorn machines, condiment center, coffee, and fountain dispenser areas clean, filled, and stocked.


• Perform deli and/or maintenance duties periodically, such as sweeping the lot, shoveling snow, cleaning gas pumps, filling water/cleaning solution buckets on islands, and completing any other duties assigned by management.
