This part-time (18.75 hours per week), temporary position is responsible for working with expectant parents and kinship caregivers in the community. This position coordinates and assesses requests for pregnancy-and parenting-related services and assists clients with implementing a plan for parenting and/or relative caregiving through assessment, counseling, and connection to community resources, with the goal of enhancing stability and building resources and resiliency.
Additional responsibilities include developing and facilitating groups or coordinating logistics for groups led by others, managing financial assistance provided to clients, tracking data, outcomes, and demographics, and expanding outreach efforts to grow community resources and partnerships. This position involves some evening and weekend commitments. A reliable form of transportation and transporting clients in a personal vehicle are necessary. This position involves shared on-call duties 24/7.
