Position Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Transporter to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the safe and professional transportation of patients to and from our healthcare facilities, as well as handling deliveries and procurement of supplies as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients between facilities and designated locations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to receive trip details and instructions.
• Exhibit professional and courteous behavior with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct pre-use vehicle inspections to ensure safety and comfort.
• Assist with transferring and supporting patients during transport.
• Use maps and directions accurately to reach destinations.
• Perform local deliveries and purchase supplies as directed.
• Carry out all other related duties assigned by Valley Healthcare System.

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Salary: $16.16/hr

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for extended periods.
• Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.
