Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Description

· Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills, invoices, orders, or other records.

· Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures routes and rates 

· Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or appropriate container(s) for shipping; often requires the use of small hand held and/or powered tools

· Pack/insert items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. 

· Keep Warehouse clean by sweeping floors on a regular basis, remove trash and recycle cardboard.

· Assist in annual Physical Inventory Count

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Must be capable of lifting & carrying up to 50 lbs approximately 10ft. and/or up 3 steps.

· 20 hours per week.

· Must work well in a team environment and independently.
