Part Time Yard Associate

Description

We’re currently hiring a dependable and hard-working Yard Associate to join our team at Gold Beach Lumber Yard in Harbor, Oregon. This part-time position offers approximately 20 hours per week, and requires availability on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with loading and unloading materials such as lumber, concrete, soil, and other bulk items
   
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and outdoor storage areas
   
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment (training provided if needed)
   
• Restock and manage inventory in the yard
   
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with product inquiries

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a retail, yard, or warehouse environment is a plus
   
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs and work in various weather conditions
   
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
   
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
   
• Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
   

Schedule:

• Approximately 20 hours per week
   
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
