Part-Time/Per Diem - Ketamine Nurse (T/Th/Fri)

Description

We are an outpatient psychiatric practice that offers alternative therapies for psychiatric disorders. We are a dynamic and growing practice and are currently looking for an experienced registered nurse to work in Scarsdale clinic's Ketamine infusion therapy service line. The position will work under the direct supervision of our Medical Director and clinical staff to aid in the IV administration of ketamine to patients suffering from depression and other psychiatric conditions.

Our mission is to provide quality, compassionate, dedicated services in an ethical manner by offering the latest cutting-edge, alternative therapies to patients who have failed or poorly tolerated conventional psychiatric treatments.

Schedule: Part-time

Standard Hours: 6-12 / week

Salary: $60 /hour

Shift: Typically, 3-6 hours

Employee Status: W-2

Requirements

Position Requirements:

- NY State Nursing Licensure for at least (2) two years, with current Registration

- Emergency or Recovery room experience preferred

- Current CPR/ACLS certification from an approved training course

- Proficient peripheral IV skills

- Knowledge of infusion therapies

- Care of venous access devices

- Good Physical Assessment skills

- Flexibility and Reliability

- Good Organizational, Writing, Communication and Interpersonal Skills
