Bridgetown believes in the participation of all people at every life stage in practicing the way of Jesus. We believe that to be an apprentice of Jesus of Nazareth is to order your life around three goals: be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did. Our dream is that as we live this way, our lives, our communities, and our city, will be transformed.
Role Summary
Bridgetown Church’s Pastoral Fellowship exists to provide those who sense a call to vocational pastoral ministry the opportunity to receive practical ministry experience through shadowing Bridgetown pastors and participating with them in hands-on ministry. This program is ideal for those who: have a clear call to ministry, are teachable, have a strong work ethic and servant's heart, desire to work in various ministry areas, and resonate with Bridgetown’s beliefs, values, philosophy and practices. The aim of this program is not to lead to full-time employment at Bridgetown upon completion. Our hope is that the experience of a Fellowship at Bridgetown would enrich someone's life deeply and help prepare them for ongoing ministry in whatever context the Lord leads them to next.
