Patient Coordinator - Cottonwood Creek Dental

Description

Dr. Mike Dolby, of Cottonwood Creek Dental is seeking an experienced and dedicated part time Patient Care Coordinator to join his team in Eagle, ID. The primary role of the Patient Care Coordinator is to partner with Dr. Dolby and Dr. Amero to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience for our patients.

Anticipated work schedule: Mon- Thur 11am-3pm

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in all patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for patients.
• Present treatment plans to patients and explain their insurance benefits.
• Obtain financial commitment from patients and ensure they understand their copay.
• Confirm patient appointments.
• Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility.
• Obtain any necessary insurance pre-authorization and referral documentation.
• Respond to patient billing, treatment, and benefit inquiries.
• Input patient medications for doctor review and approval.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the office manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year dental office experience required, with 2+ preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Patient advocate; empathetic, adaptable, and ethical
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Open Dental software experience a plus
