Patient Representative

We are a well-established, NCQA recognized pediatric practice in Schaumburg Illinois that is seeking a part-time (24 hours) patient representative. This role is also required to work rotating Saturdays. 

Responsibilities:

• Patient scheduling and registration
• Medical insurance processing and verification
• Maintaining electronic health records
• Collect copay and outstanding patient balances
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Epic electronic medical record experience a plus

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• High School diploma required
• Ability to multitask

• General computer knowledge

Required Length & Type of Experience:

• 2 years of customer service experience
• Office based work experience preferred
