Patient Service Representative

Description

Ravine Way Surgery Center, located in Glenview, is currently looking for a part-time Patient Service Representative to join our team. This individual will offer critical organizational support to the Business Office team and assist with projects. The hours for this position are expected to be approximately 12:00 - 5:30PM weekdays.

As the first person to interact with customers and their families either face to face or over the telephone, the experience with the Patient Service Representative reflects on the entire surgery center.

• Checks patients in, assists Business Office with other clerical work such as report generation, filing, etc...

Requirements

High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)

Two years minimum experience clerical medical office experience

Proficient typing skills (50 wpm)

Preferred:

Ambulatory Surgery Center experience is preferred

Microsoft Office experience

Must be able to work variable hours and be flexible to meet the needs of the center’s daily surgery schedule.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
