Pediatric Dentist - Part Time

Here at DOCS Health we have a state-of-the-art dental practice at Luke Air Force Base as part of Army and Air Force Exchange Services specifically servicing Military Families and Military Veterans. Our practice has a family feel and we focus on building relationships with our patients. Making sure to provide each of our patients with the best quality care.

Schedule: 2-4 days per month, your choice!

Responsibilities:

• Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
• Strong diagnostic skills and be well versed in all phases of general dentistry with emphasis on oral surgery, simple restorative, and palliative care.
• Utilize best practices, evidenced based dentistry and ADA standards of care in guiding your clinical practice.
• Educate patients on the importance of maintaining proper oral health and outlining goals for both medical and dental health considerations.
• Practice and follow infection control and OSHA regulations.
• Follow all rules and regulations set by the state, federal and governmental entities
• Build strong relationships with patients to create connections and influence patient retention.
• Execute company standards, processes, and procedures to ensure quality of service and a consistent patient experience.
• Strive to balance the achievement of operational targets while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

• Degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
• Active Arizona Dental License - with no restrictions
• Strong diagnostic skills and be well versed in all phases of Pediatric dentistry
• 1 year of Pediatric Dentistry experience required
• Able to work well with children
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting.
• CPR Certification
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent proficiency and knowledge of requisite procedural skills
• Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required
