About the Position 

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide total care assistance for an 11-year-old boy with multiple complex medical needs. He is non-verbal, visually impaired, and medically fragile, requiring assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs) and ongoing medical monitoring. He lives in a supportive and loving home environment with family members actively involved in his care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Total assistance with all ADLs including dressing, bathing, grooming, repositioning, and toileting.

• Safe Hoyer lift transfers to and from bed, wheelchair, and recliner.

• Wheelchair positioning and comfort monitoring throughout the day.

• G-Tube feeding: preparation, administration, and site care.

• Adherence to seizure precautions; observation and appropriate response to seizure activity.

• Medication administration and documentation as directed by family or nursing staff.

• Routine range-of-motion exercises to support joint health and manage contractures.

• Basic sensory engagement appropriate for a visually impaired, non-verbal child.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and calm environment for the child at all times.
  
   

• Qualifications:

• Current unencumbered LPN/RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse in a supervised setting within the last three (3) year
• Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience including any specialty areas
• In compliance with state and Federal regulations
• CPR
• Valid AHCA/ level two background screening
• TB test showing a negative result
