Job Summary:
Provide direct therapy services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for children ages birth to 18 with a variety of diagnoses, including torticollis, autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, gross motor delays, sports injuries, sensory processing challenges and others.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in family and caregiver education to support patient progress and generalization of skills.
Engage in regular supervisory meetings and feedback sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.
Contribute to team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in physical therapy.
Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
A degree in Physical Therapy.
Current state licensure.
Strong clinical skills in evaluation and treatment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
Preferred qualities:
1+ years' experience working in pediatrics.
Medicaid credentialed.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
CPR/First Aid certification (training provided if necessary).
Compensation & Benefits:
Earn up to $55 per hour, depending on experience level and time spent providing direct patient care.
PTO accrued based on the hours worked during each pay period.
