Job Description - Pediatric Speech Therapist Early Intervention

We are looking for a committed Speech Therapist to join our growing team that serves the 0-3 year old Early Intervention population with a caseload of 10-20+ treatment hours/week. At Abilities Pediatric Physical Therapy we value all that therapists give to our clients and aim to promote a healthy work-life balance. No micromanaging; you create your own schedule and caseload amount.

Responsibilities

Perform standardized assessments at evaluations and create goals with family

Manage scheduling clients

Complete timely documentation

Provide evidence-based therapy to clients in their home environment

Educate and instruct parents on daily integration of therapy strategies

Minimum Requirements

Master’s degree in speech-language pathology

Licensed in the State of California

A minimum of one year of pediatric experience

Friendly, outgoing demeanor

Experience with working with families

Able to meet deadlines, detail and task-oriented

Well-versed in gross motor milestones

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AAC devices

Bilingual Spanish

Experience with pediatric phonological disorders, expressive, receptive, and pragmatic language disorders needs etc. are also highly valued.
