A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthetic care for patients before, during, and after surgery. Their responsibilities include:

Patient assessment: Conducting patient assessments and taking patient histories

Anesthetic preparation: Preparing anesthetic for patients and determining the appropriate type of anesthesia

Anesthetic administration: Administering general, local, spinal, epidural, and nerve block anesthesia

Monitoring: Monitoring patients' vitals and adjusting anesthesia levels during surgery

Pain management: Working with other medical staff to develop pain management plans

Post-operative care: Overseeing the patient's safety as they recover from anesthesia and providing post anesthesia follow-up

Education: Educating patients about their surgery and recovery

Laboratory tests: Performing routine laboratory tests

Collaboration: Collaborating with physicians and other medical staff

Working in rural ambulatory surgery center for general surgery. 1 day a week, occasionally 2 days a week. Willing to schedule our cases around your availability.

Compensation: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per day
