Per Diem Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

 AMIC & Supportive Families is seeking a qualified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with OPWDD-approved specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development. This position is Per Diem and will involve working alongside AMIC's LMSW to provide case-by-case clinical supervision and guidance as clinical needs arise within the residences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

• Must have more than 3,600 hours of experience practicing as a licensed or certified NP
• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
• Current approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts.
• Must be currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of NY.
• Because of the nature of responsibilities, it is preferable to have experience in counseling and teaching, and have a master's degree.

Pay: From $95.00 per hour
