Our Hospice Certified Nursing Assistants enjoy some excellent benefits:

As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• 
  

  Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, toileting, and repositioning.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with mobility and transfers (bed to chair, ambulation, etc.), ensuring patient safety.

  
  


• 
  

  Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as instructed.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform light housekeeping related to patient care, such as changing linens, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist patients with meals, including feeding when necessary and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to patients and families.

  
  


• 
  

  Recognize and report changes in patient condition, needs, or concerns to the RN or case manager promptly.

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to the hospice plan of care and document care provided accurately.

  
  


• 
  

  Respect the dignity, privacy, and cultural values of each patient and family.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and hospice policies and procedures.

  
  

A few must-haves for Certified Nursing Assistant:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate in GA 


• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred


• Hospice experience preferred but not required


• CPR certification and First Aid Certification (Must be from an in-person class. We no longer accept any online certifications.)


• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation


• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
