Provide service to individuals in their own homes who need assistance caring for themselves because of old age, sickness, disability and/or other inflictions. It may include light housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, respite and advice on such things as nutrition, cleanliness and household activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards. Client is wheelchair bound needing lots of assistance.
This is a mostly a 9-hour live-out care work position in Windsor Locks, CT four days a week. Ability to drive, though optional, is preferable.
