As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate caregiving services that support our clients in their daily lives while fostering their independence.

JOB SUMMARY: The Home Health Aide will provide compassionate, hands-on assistance to veterans in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The role involves personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities, tailored to the unique needs of veterans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting with hygiene: Bathing, dressing, and grooming.


• Providing mobility support: Helping with walking, transferring, and using assistive devices.


• Assisting with meals: Preparing food, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition.


• Light housekeeping: Maintaining a clean living environment.


• Medication reminders: Ensuring medications are taken as prescribed.


• Transportation: Accompanying individuals to appointments or errands (if needed)


• Emotional support: Providing companionship and support to the individual.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to pass Skills Assessment


• Able to pass TB Test (Required)


• Demonstrates compassion and treats clients with dignity and respect


• Adaptable and flexible in various situations


• Has reliable transportation for work assignments(Preferred)


• Has a Valid driver's license (Preferred)


• Has automobile insurance (preferred)


• Willing to accept assignments in our service areas in Oil City, PA (Franklin, Seneca, Tionesta, and Titusville)
