Job Summary

We are seeking a Personal Trainer to join our successful gym. As a Personal Trainer, you will perform fitness assessments, develop training plans, and provide education on how to use gym equipment safely. Your primary goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives. The ideal candidate is a great teacher with a passion for fitness.

Responsibilities

Perform fitness assessments to understand each client’s current fitness level

Create individualized workout plans and training routines and revise them periodically

Demonstrate proper techniques for using machines and equipment

Ensure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followed

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required

Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification

Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred

First aid and CPR certified

Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Not only do you have access to free-weights (including power racks and lifting platforms), selectorized machines, and cardio, but you’ll have access to a Functional Training Room with the latest functional training equipment and a large turf area. In addition, you’ll be able to get assistance by certified personal trainers to coach you through your fitness journey.

This is just the first step in a much larger journey to bridge your typical fitness facility into a preventative health care center. Just as important as strength training and cardio is proper recovery. To help with your recovery, which includes mental and emotional recovery just as much as physical recovery, we also offer access to our new Recovery Zone! We already accept some insurance plans that subsidize membership dues and plan on growing that reimbursement plan portfolio.
