Job Summary

We are seeking a Personal Trainer to join our team at Breakthrough Fit Co. Breakthrough Fit Co is a personal training studio where all are welcome. We work with the general population as well as neurodiverse individuals. As a Personal Trainer, you will perform fitness assessments, develop training plans, and provide education on how to use gym equipment safely. Your primary goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives. The ideal candidate is an experienced personal trainer who is open to the opportunity of working with special needs individuals.

Responsibilities

Perform fitness assessments to understand each client’s current fitness level

Create individualized workout plans and training routines and revise them periodically

Demonstrate proper techniques for using machines and equipment

Ensure that all gym safety standards and procedures are followed

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required

Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification

Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred

First aid and CPR certified

Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills
