Pharmacist

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a part-time Pharmacist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Dubuque, Iowa! Practice in a community health center setting that serves a 7000 square mile radius that includes Iowa, Illinois, & Wisconsin.  

What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.  

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof. 

Role Details:

• Pharmacy Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30a.m.-5:30p.m. no weekends/holidays.
• Part time position: 20-29 hours per week within Pharmacy hours
• Pharmacy fills on average 300 scripts per day with a very diverse patient population
• Pharmacy team includes: 3 Pharmacists, 1 temp Pharmacist, 1 Pharmacy Manager, 1 Pharmacy Director, 4 Pharmacy Techs, 2 part-time Drivers, & 1 Clerk
• EHR: Pioneer in Pharmacy; EPIC in clinic setting

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred but not required
