Job Description​

Our Primary care clinic at the plaza is seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to join the team! You will be responsible for drawing blood, processing specimens, and assisting with other procedures as needed (such as EKGs & 6 minute walks). Our phlebotomists rotate stations so you will get to work on a variety of tasks. The schedule for this position will be PRN 2-3 shifts per week Mon-Fri. The entire job description is below.

Performs venipuncture on adult and pediatric patients. Provides educational instructions to patients regarding lab testing collection procedures and testing requirements. Works well with outside labs and has ability to communicate in a manner that promotes clinic and lab professionalism as well as comfortable phlebotomy. We have a team based approach to support Patient Centered Medical Home.
