Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in delivering patient care by implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.


• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to the physical therapist.


• Provide patient education regarding exercises and activities to enhance recovery and prevent injury.


• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized following safety protocols.


• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.


• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
