Pay Rate- $50 per visit ($200 onboarding bonus)
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at 1st Americare LLC. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide essential therapeutic services to our clients in their homes, contributing significantly to their recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Provide direct patient care including exercises and mobility training.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety measures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress notes.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in outpatient settings or home health preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
