Miami Valley Hospital South\n\nPhysical Therapist (Part \u2013 Time)\n\n * Part-Time: 20 hours per week \u2013 Sports Medicine\n\n\n\n \n\n1-on-1, 45-minute follow up appointments; 1-Hour initial assessments\n\n \n\nSummary:\n\nThe Physical Therapist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams. This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning.\n\n \n\nThe therapist participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. The therapist is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.\n\nEducation: Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program; new graduates welcome\n\n \n\nLicensure/Certification\n\n * Current Physical Therapy license in State of Ohio\n * BLS certification within 30-days of hire required\n\n\n\n \n\nExperience: Preferred experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience.
