About the Role:
Join Brightstar Care of Lakeland and Winterhaven as a Physical Therapist, where you will provide compassionate and personalized therapy services in the comfort of patients' homes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of individuals recovering from injury or illness.




Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical therapy needs in a home setting.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility and quality of life.

  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care strategies.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress in compliance with regulations.

  • Provide compassionate support and encouragement to patients throughout their recovery journey.

  • Stay updated on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Previous experience in home health care or outpatient settings preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients.

  • Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Current CPR certification and knowledge of safety protocols.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
