Pickleball Instructor/Coordinator (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)

Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pickleball Instructor to join our team at The Peninsula Golf & Country Club. This is a part-time position offering flexible hours to accommodate your schedule. Tennis teaching background is a plus as well as there can be opportunities to teach tennis as well as pickleball.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality pickleball instruction to players of all skill levels.
• Offer both private lessons and group classes tailored to the needs of participants.
• Foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience coaching and/or teaching pickleball with a background in tennis.
• USPTA or PTR certification preferred but not required. Willing to get certified. 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and engage groups of students.
• High playing ability (4.0+ rating preferred).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a background check.

Preferred (but not required):

• Pickleball coaching certification.

Compensation:

• Based on experience and skill set.
• Base pay + commissions
