POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the Pit Supervisor (Part Time) is to oversee the dealers and table games in their assigned section. Pit Supervisors ensure that games are running smoothly and properly and that our guests are having a great experience. Pit Supervisors resolve problems in a fair manner and report any issues to the Shift Manager.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Accurately rate casino players
Maintain a constant general awareness of assigned section.
Resolve guest disputes and/or elevate them to the Shift Manager, if necessary.
Encourage guests to participate in the Plaza Rewards program.
Alert Shift Manager of large play and buy ins.
Open and closes games and change cards/dice.
Accurately track table bankrolls and verifies all table paperwork (markers/fills/credits)
Ensure compliance of rules and policies for the dealers in assigned section.
Ensure all gaming transactions are made accurately and watches for any game irregularities.
Other related duties as necessary.

Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, with intermittent breaks.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, loud environment.
Must be able to tolerate secondhand smoke.
Must be able to quickly and respectfully give clear directions.
Must be able to quickly and accurately understand and follow directions.

Requirements
Required:
Able to compute table games payouts and perform moderately complex math skills.
Full Knowledge of Title 31.
Full Knowledge of Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette, including proper procedure and game protection.
One year table games experience, including six months of Table Games supervisory experience.
Must have familiarity with using a personal computer.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
One year of Table Games supervisory experience.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

Gaming Card
Alcohol Awareness Card
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise four to six table games, including the dealers, players, bankrolls and paperwork for each game.
