Planning and Expediting Coordinator - Part Time

Planning & Expediting Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and information within a supply chain or production process, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to meet production schedules and resolve any delays.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies through the production process to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Communication: Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to confirm order details, resolve issues, and negotiate delivery schedules.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and work closely with the purchasing department to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may disrupt the production schedule, implementing corrective actions, as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material deliveries, and inventory levels to track performance and inform future decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Typically requires 2+ years of experience in an expediting or supply chain coordination role.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and relationship-building.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software, ERP systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Educational Background: A high school diploma is required.
