Job Description - PM Housekeeper - Hotel

Description

At Crowne Plaza we look for people who are dynamic, confident and ambitious; people who excel in their role and help our guests succeed too. Our full-service hotel houses 166 guest rooms, bar, restaurant, and 4500sqft of event and meeting spaces. We are located down the road from the Charleston Airport and across from the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Responsible for cleaning both room types (stay overs and departures)
  • Change bed linen and make beds
  • Replace used towels
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Dust all furniture
  • Replenish all amenities
  • Report any hazards or defected equipment, furniture, etc. immediately
  • Submit any items left behind by guest to Hotel Lost and Found
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures
  • Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete.

  1. Attention to Detail - Constantly - Before releasing rooms back into inventory, ensure room has been cleaned thoroughly and ready for inspection
  2. Communication. - Constantly. Professionally deal with difficult situations/people.
  3. Flexibility – Constantly. Varied tasks under varied conditions.
  4. Pace - Constantly. Must adapt to business demands
  5. Deadlines – Constantly. Clean rooms in allotted time frame given per room.

  • STANDING/WALKING: Constantly.
  • KNEELING/CRAWLING: Constantly.
  • STOOPING (BEND AT WAIST): Constantly.
  • TWISTING (KNEES/WAIST/NECK): Constantly.
  • ]REACHING (OVERHEAD/EXTENSION): Constantly.
  • HANDLING/GRASPING: Constantly.
  • CROUCHING (BEND AT KNEES): Frequently.
  • BALANCING: Frequently.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Previous experience preferred but not necessary.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
