Prep Team Member - Full Time & Part Time

Chick-fil-A Prep Team Member - Full Time & Part Time $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

The Prep Team Member is responsible for preparing high-quality food ingredients and products in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This role ensures that the kitchen is fully stocked and ready to support food production throughout the day.

Hours

• Mornings (anywhere from 5:30 AM to 3 PM)
• Afternoons (anywhere from 10 AM to 6 PM)
• Closing (anywhere from 2 PM to 11 PM)
• Prep typically starts at 5:30 AM
• Full-time preferred, part-time available
• 30+ hours a week 
• Available for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts 
• No formal education required; just a passion for food and service!

Responsibilities 

• Follow Chick-Fil-A recipes and procedures to prepare salads, wraps, fruits, and vegetables 
• Maintain stock levels of prep items by accurately labeling and dating food 
• Monitor freshness and discard expired items by following food safety standards 
• Clean and sanitize prep station, equipment, and tools throughout the shift 
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g, ServSafe guidelines) 
• Accurately rotate (FIFO) and alert leaders about low or missing items 
• Work collaboratively with kitchen team to meet daily goals 
• Uphold Chick-Fil-A’s standards and core values in all tasks 

Requirements/Qualifications 

• Must be 16 years or older 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety 
• Willingness to learn and follow Chick-Fil-A standards
• Previous cook or prep experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive tasks 
• Comfortable working in cold prep or warm kitchen environment
