Job Description - Preschool and PreK Resource Teacher

Heartfelt Impressions Rochester is actively seeking a part-time resource teacher for our Preschool and PreK classrooms.

Position Detail:
Location: Rochester, Michigan
Status: Regular, part-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12pm-6pm
Pay Range: $13-$16/hour, depending on education and experience
NOTE: This position does NOT qualify for US Visa sponsorship

Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age (required)
Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire)
Previous experience in a childcare setting or private nanny (preferred)

What you will do

As a Preschool PreK Resource Teacher at our Rochester, MI campus, you will provide support and coverage to teachers during the afternoon to allow them the opportunity to use their planning time effectively, take breaks and get a meal so our classrooms stay in ratio.

Keep children safe through health and safety, supervision and by using name to face often.
Provide appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors.
Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures
Support the lead and assistant teacher
Engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom
Participate and direct children through the daily routine
Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom
Follow Heartfelt Core Values when making decisions.

You will engage with parents as they come to pick up their children at the end of the day and work with colleagues on campus closing procedures. The successful candidate is flexible, patient and handles change with ease.
