We seek a dependable and experienced School Cleaner/Resource employee to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our preschool students, staff, and families. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our school community by upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

This is a Late afternoon/Evening Shift position.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Daily Cleaning & Sanitation:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces

Maintain and clean the lobby and windows of the school

Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and shared spaces

Restock restroom supplies, including paper towels, soap, and sanitizers

Light Maintenance (A Plus) :

Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging drains ( if needed)

Maintain Cleaning equipment and inventory of supplies

Report any major maintenance issues to management

Safety & Security:

Lock and secure all areas after cleaning

Report any safety hazards or facility concerns promptly

Other Duties:

Support school events by setting up and breaking down rooms or equipment

Assist with unloading supplies and basic grounds maintenance as needed

Assist in the kitchen and pantry with cleaning, stocking, and prepping ( as needed )

Giving breaks and relieving staff for Lunch ( determined by management)

Qualifications:

Proven custodial experience in a school or childcare setting

Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures

Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, and general repairs are a Plus

Familiarity with MSDS and chemical safety

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
