Privado Experience Concierge - Overnight (Part-Time)

Our carefully curated team of Experience Concierge will look forward to assisting the most discerning travelers, creating exceptionally special experiences that will become treasured memories. This team will ensure every last detail is accounted for from reservation to departure; taking the time to give genuine, continuous care for each guest. This level of detail and precision will be essential to creating a thoughtfully personalized and ultra-luxe experience that is exclusive to Privado.

You will be reporting to the Privado Rooms Leaders; responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Provide exceptional Concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, confirmations and other available services
• Provide pre-arrival, arrival and departure assistance for all Privado guests
• Oversee room assignments for all incoming guests
• Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Privado and Fairmont loyalty
• Develop and maintain contacts with business partners, concessionaires, local community and counterparts of Privado throughout Fairmont Hotels & Resort
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Address guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments
• Review guest billing for arriving and departing guests to ensure accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Privado back of house spaces
• Valet Park and retrieve vehicles for Privado hotel guests overnight
• Owning the entrance of the hotel, assisting our arriving and departing guests while providing exceptional service
• Ensure timely and seamless delivery and collection of guest luggage
• Provide guest room escort and orientation upon arrival
• Transport guests throughout the property in golf cart
• Follow department policies, procedures, service standards and safety policies
• Other duties as assigned        

• This is a part-time position - three shifts per week. 
• Previous Opera Property Management System experience preferred
• Previous customer service-related experience preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
• Must possess valid US Driver’s License
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position:  Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:   

• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20lbs
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements:  Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
