Due to fast pace growth, we have an opening for a private woodwind teacher at our Reading location.
This position requires teacher availability weekday evenings beginning at 4pm or Saturdays.

Job Summary: As a private clarinet/saxophone teacher you will primarily offer 1 on 1 private clarinet, saxophone, or other woodwind lessons, and work with our amazing staff to foster a fun environment for students to discover their passion for music! You will be free to focus on developing your students individually while we advertise and support your studio’s growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach music to students of all ability levels in a way that makes them excited to learn!
Communicate effectively with your students and their parents about their progress and needs to help them grow as musicians.
Work with our staff and community of musicians to build a lesson experience that goes beyond the practice room!
Use our online scheduler to track student attendance, assign practice, and keep track of your students’ progress.
Use provided payroll and human resource information system completing weekly timesheets and performing required training and compliance tasks.
Requirements
Required education, experience, and abilities
Two (2) years of college level music experience or five (5) years of music teaching/performance experience or a combination of both.
Possess an understanding of music concepts and theory and be able to communicate effectively to students of all ages.
Outgoing and enthusiastic personality aligned with our culture and mission.
Patience to work with students of all ages and abilities.
Specialty in one or more instruments.
Preferred education and experience
A bachelor's degree (or degree in progress) in music education or performance or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience working with youth and/or beginner musicians.
