This position pays $18 / hour. 

Shifts and days of the week will vary based on the needs of the community.  

Position Summary

Ready to be a superhero in scrubs? As a Personal Care Partner II QMAP, you'll be the resident rockstar, ensuring our lovely residents are living their best lives! You'll be the maestro of medications, conducting a symphony of care that aligns perfectly with our company's mission and values. Your superpower? Anticipating needs before they arise and reporting them faster than a speeding bullet!

Your Exciting Daily Adventures

• Be the resident's personal fairy godparent, granting wishes for personal care needs and ADLs with a wave of your magic wand (okay, it's just a regular wand, but your care will feel magical)!
• Transform into a grooming guru, helping residents look and feel their best - from hair-combing wizardry to shoe-tying mastery!
• Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes to detect and report any resident care needs. Lost hearing aids? Broken glasses? You're on the case!
• Become a master of multitasking, juggling resident care, family needs, and open communication like a circus pro (no actual juggling required, though it would be impressive)!
• Don your superhero cape as the guardian of resident safety and well-being. No phone booth required for this quick change!
• Be the voice for those who can't speak up, reporting any suspicion of abuse or neglect faster than you can say "Holy guacamole!"
• Transform into a human mood ring, detecting and reporting changes in resident status with colorful accuracy!
• Become the Medication Maestro, conducting a perfectly timed symphony of pills and potions (all according to state law, of course)!
• Channel your inner Home Network, the Builder for those "Can we fix it? Yes, we can!" moments, completing work orders for necessary repairs or replacements.
• Be the life of the party at monthly staff meetings, bringing your A-game to address resident and departmental needs (party hats optional but encouraged)!

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• High school or Equivalent (GED)
• One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
• Proficient computer skills preferred
• Strong self-management and organization skills
• Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change).
• Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
• May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
• Possible exposure to household chemicals.
• Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
• May be subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
