PRN Receptionist (Evening Shift ONLY) - Behavioral Hospital

Perimeter Behavioral of Arlington has a great PRN Evening opportunity for Receptionist. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving our patient’s lives by using a patient centered, collaborative approach to providing high quality of care.

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is conveniently located in Arlington Texas and is a psychiatric hospital providing inpatient programs for children, adolescents, and adults. Our Receptionist’s responsibilities include some of the following:

• Answer the telephone and distribute telephone messages to the appropriate parties.
• Greet visitors and ensure the visitor log is completed.
• Ensure visitors and staff are properly screened prior to entering the building.
• Accept packages for the hospital per hospital’s policies.
• Observe the activities of the main lobby and ensure the area is kept orderly.
• Assist the Assessment and Referral department as needed.

Please apply if you have the following qualifications for a Receptionist:

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
• Experience: at least one year front desk/receptionist experience and behavioral health patient care experience preferred. 
• Successful completion of BLS and Handle with Care certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must be available to attend a full week of hospital orientation. 
• Must be flexible and available to work evening and weekend shifts.
• Must have excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.
