PRN/Part-Time Home Care RN

Senior Helpers of Hattiesburg is currently searching for Part-Time Registered Nurses to perform homecare visits throughout our service area. Position includes a flexible schedule and great benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial nursing assessments and ongoing cognition screens at start of care and develop an individualized care plan for each new client including recommendations for care hours.


• Perform follow up visits as per allowance and at client status changes.


• Accurately monitor and record data regarding patients' conditions; document all provided care services.

You must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Mississippi.


• Must possess sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice as determined by state and federal regulations.


• 
  At least 1 year of experience working with seniors in home care environment.
  


• Experience in care coordination between, physician, clients, referral sources


• Excellent communication skills.


• Great problem-solving skills.


• Basic IT Skills.
