Pro Shop Attendant - Racquet Sports

Established in 1928, the West Shore Country Club was envisioned as a place where friends could gather for social and recreational activities. Our variety of banquet settings can accommodate parties from a small business meeting to a grand wedding celebration. The Racquet Sports Pro Shop Attendant is responsible for providing quality service to members and guests as they enjoy the Club's racquet sports amenities. The Racquet Sports Pro Shop Attendant is a seasonal, part-time, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Director of Racquet Sports.

Pro Shop Hours (in season)

• Monday - Saturday: 8 am - 6 pm
• Sunday - 9 am - 4 pm

Starting Hourly Rate: $13.50 per hour

Part-time Hours: 20-25 hrs. per week

Essential Job Duties:

• Assisting members with court reservations and verifying daily court reservations are correct.
• Use Point of Service (POS) system to complete member purchases.
• Ensure towels and water are readily available for members and guests.
• Court maintenance: Brushing the clay courts, spreading clay, and keeping the pickleball courts clear of puddles and debris.
• Maintaining a clean and organized pro shop.
• Assist Racquet Sports Director and Pickleball Specialist by cleaning up the tennis and pickleball balls left on the courts.
• Assist with facilitating activities supporting the summer Kids Camp program.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Racquet Sports.

• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have great customer service skills
• Must have a general knowledge of the game of tennis
• Must be available to work during the week and weekends
• Must be able to work in outdoor elements, walk, bend, and stand for duration of shift
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
