As a Produce Clerk, you’ll help maintain fresh, fully stocked produce displays while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced grocery store environment.

What You’ll Do

•  Stock, rotate, and replenish fresh produce displays
•  Inspect fruits and vegetables for freshness and product quality
•  Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing produce displays
•  Assist customers with produce selection and product recommendations
•  Monitor proper storage, temperature control, and product rotation
•  Handle and prepare produce using safe food handling procedures
•  Support inventory management and product replenishment
•  Set up promotional displays and seasonal produce features
•  Operate department equipment and tools safely
•  Support front-end operations and other store needs when necessary
•  Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

•  Previous produce, grocery, retail, or food service experience preferred but not required
•  Basic knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and produce handling techniques preferred
•  Strong customer service and communication skills
•  Attention to detail and organizational abilities
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•  Basic math and reading skills
•  Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
•  Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
•  Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Work Environment

•  Fast-paced grocery store produce department
•  Exposure to coolers, misting systems, damp produce, and refrigerated areas
•  Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs
