Produce Team Member

Description

Kimberton Whole Foods in Wyomissing is looking for part-time Produce Team Members to join the crew!

Availability: Part-time, up to 24 hours per week. One weekend shift is required per week.

Schedule:

• Monday 6:30am - 3pm
• Tuesday 12pm - 8:30pm
• Saturday 7am - 3:30pm

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

Hourly Pay: $15-$17 hourly, based on experience

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

 The Produce Team Member’s primary responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items.
• Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
• Maintains abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
• Understands KWF inventory management practices.

Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. 
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. 
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. 
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing. 
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). 
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
